Can minors receive vaccinations in Iowa without parental consent?

For HPV or Hepatitis-B or Hepatitis-C vaccines, minors of any age in Iowa do not need parental consent. Essentially, Iowa allows minors to seek preventative care for sexually-transmitted diseases. (source: Iowa Code § 139A.35)

For all other vaccines, parental consent is required. Call your county health department and let them know about your situation.
